When coaching helps
What coaching looks like
- When you're at a career or life crossroads and want help thinking it through.
- When you're working on habits, health, or a redesign of how you spend your days.
- When you want to build communication or relationship skills with structure and accountability.
- When you're sorting out values, identity, or what matters most to you now.
- When you're facing a major decision: whether to stay, leave, start, or finish.
Coaching tends to be shorter-term, more action-oriented, and structured around clear goals you set.
You'll do real work between sessions, with a partner holding the bar steady. Most clients see meaningful progress in 6 to 12 sessions, though some choose to continue longer for ongoing accountability.
We work with adults at every stage — early career, mid-life, post-retirement — and with teens through our dedicated teen coaching track.
How coaching is different from therapy
Our approach
Is this the right fit?
- Certified coaching methodology
- Goal-setting, accountability, and structured frameworks
- Strengths-based and forward-focused
- Between-session practice and reflection
- Clear referrals to therapy when appropriate
- Adults at career or life crossroads
- High-performers wanting structure, accountability, and growth
- Anyone navigating a major transition (relationship, role, identity)
- People who tried therapy and want something more action-oriented
Coaching focuses on moving forward. It is solution-focused. We can help you resolve long-standing fear-based beliefs, and partner with you to move forward with intention and purpose.
Our coaches work in conjunction with our clinical team. If you have achieved your coaching goals and want to move to therapy, the transition is seamless. We facilitate an internal referral with a therapist who is the best fit for you.

I had the privilege of working with Jo for several years, both individually and in couples counseling, during one of the most challenging times in my life, and I am incredibly grateful for her support. Jo is warm, authentic, relational, and genuinely down-to-earth, which immediately put me at ease and made it easy to open up. She created a therapeutic environment rooted in compassion, acceptance, and humanity, setting a standard for the kind of warmth I believe every therapist should strive for. I always felt heard, understood, and respected, and her guidance had a lasting impact on my life. If you're looking for a therapist who feels like a real person—not someone distant, cold, or clinical—I wholeheartedly recommend Jo and this practice. The care I received made a meaningful difference, and I can't recommend them highly enough.

We found the center using Google and they recommend Marcie Reznik to us. She was the first experience my partner and I ever had with a life coach. I am not sure what we were expecting but as we both felt like we had an issue we were not able to push through alone we went. We did a total of 6 sessions and LOVEd it! Each time we learned more about the process and each other. Marcie was patient and helped us see what was necessary to move forward. It has been 2 months since our last appointment and it has been great using the tools she thought us. I think our relationship is stronger and our ability to think things out and communicate is so much better. I have a new understanding on Life Coaching and 100% recommend Marcie!!
